The Immersion Analytics Runtime is a development platform for adding immersive value to existing enterprise software offerings. Today, you instead use the Immersion Analytics Runtime Library from within your existing software (desktop, cloud or app) to create native workflow integration spanning classic 2D screens and immersive technologies shown. We’ve also open sourced our Tableau extension as a Runtime example you can follow. And if your platform offers integration or extension APIs, the Immersion Analytics team can often develop the integration turnkey, as we’ve done for Tableau, Qlik Sense, Python and MATLAB.
Your application incorporates the Immersion Analytics Runtime Library in your language of choice. This library gives you full control over the Immersion Analytics document model for creating immersive experiences. The document model is kept in sync via the Immersion Analytics Runtime Server (optionally, on our cloud tenant or as part of yours). In turn, the Immersion Analytics client app, supported on a wide array of devices, connects into Runtime Server. IA Runtime Server also enables multi-user connection, useful if you want your users to be able to collaborate immersively across any device supported by the IA Client App.
With Runtime, your application can affect the immersive experience with sub-second latency. Users interact with your already familiar interface and gain valuable immersive content. And since Runtime supports callbacks, immersive interactions can be processed by your application’s business logic and result in changes to both traditional and immersive views.
